Mister Lou® – Burgundy Horsehide by Horween - READY TO SHIP
$999.95
Regular price $799.95A little unexpected. A lot of character. One incredible opportunity to own a Wesco Mister Lou at a discount!
Sometimes the best things happen by accident.
Introducing a special release of the Wesco Mister Lou Engineer Boot, handcrafted in the USA using premium Horween Burgundy #8 Horsehide.
During production, Wesco accidentally cut select smaller components, including straps and backstays, from Horween Brown Horsehide instead of Burgundy #8 Horsehide. The two colors are so similar that the difference wasn't discovered until the boots had already moved into the lasting process.
Here's where things get interesting.
Not every pair was affected by this production variation. Some boots feature Burgundy #8 Horsehide throughout, while others incorporate the subtle Brown Horsehide accents.
Rather than separate the production run, we're offering the entire batch at 20% off, giving customers an opportunity to own one of America's most sought-after engineer boots at an exceptional price.
All pairs are built, in stock, and READY TO SHIP.
Horween Burgundy #8 Horsehide – American Leather at Its Finest
At the heart of this build is Burgundy #8 Horsehide from Horween Leather Company, the legendary Chicago tannery known for producing some of the finest leathers in the world.
This premium chrome-tanned horsehide delivers a beautiful combination of durability, structure, and character. Its deep burgundy finish features rich reddish-brown undertones that develop even more personality through natural creasing, wear, and patina.
Horsehide has long been prized by heritage footwear enthusiasts for its dense fiber structure, durability, and distinctive aging characteristics.
On select pairs, the addition of Brown Horween Horsehide straps and backstays creates a subtle two-tone effect that complements the rich Burgundy #8 leather.
Whether your pair features Burgundy #8 throughout or the contrasting Brown Horsehide accents, you're getting premium American-tanned leather and the unmistakable craftsmanship of Wesco.
